The Screaming O Named FSC's Pleasure Products Company of the Year

LOS ANGELES — The Screaming O has been named Pleasure Products Company of the Year by the Free Speech Coalition (FSC), which recognized it for responsible manufacturing, sex-positive marketing, and industry innovation.

These honors go to industry professionals and businesses for excellence in business standards and representing a pro-adult image through advocacy and actions. The Screaming O’s recent initiatives have helped inspire a refreshing conversation within the sex toy industry.

“Companies that receive these awards have demonstrated constant and unwavering innovation and excellence,” an FSC representative said. “Their company success not only benefits their individual businesses but also the industry as a whole. In addition to their creative innovation, these companies conduct business with high ethical standards and integrity.”

The company said that as part of its commitment to customers, retailers and consumers, it upholds a product materials verification, testing and labeling guarantee that proves the body-safety and quality of its products. With the help of an independent lab, the company follows a customized testing process that most closely follows protocols required by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and uses this three-point process to determine the safety and quality of all materials used in the production of its newest and most popular products. This attention to materials safety and quality is matched by a dedication to evidence- and experience-based decision-making, ensuring that the company’s marketing and development departments rely on facts rather than fiction.

From color palettes to vibration frequency, The Screaming O bases noted that its new releases on research and expertise, leaving the guess-work and hearsay out of the process.

“Recognition from FCS means so much, as these awards are chosen by its Board of Directors rather than an industry-wide voting campaign, and we’re honored by their decision,” The Screaming O account executive Conde Aumann said. “This year’s materials and marketing initiatives have made an impressive impact on our sales and industry reputation, and we’re excited to celebrate with FSC staff and the rest of the industry at the official awards event.”

This year’s awards presentation will take place Jan. 15 during the 2016 XBIZ Show at West Hollywood’s Andaz Hotel.
